MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) – I am proud of the Belarusian youth, President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he visited the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the Belarusian president on 18 October, BelTA has learned.
According to the head of state, young people are able to rely on their own resources, try their best to get good education and jobs. “I am proud of the Belarusian youth,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed. He added that there are also negative examples, but they are few. The president is absolutely against such bad habits as drinking, smoking and taking drugs.
“I am happy with the recent trend among our youth to get education, occupy a decent place in life. If it is a family, then to provide it with everything necessary, get a good job. There are much fewer whiners among the youth. They learn how to be self-reliant,” the president said.
Aleksandr Lukashenko would like to see the Belarusian youth self-reliant in the future. “I would like the youth to be honest, sincere, advanced, not hurrying up to leave the country, but trying to make their contribution to the development of their Motherland,” the president said.More about President
