
MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active and retired employees of the energy sector on their professional holiday - Energy Industry Worker's Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Thanks to professionalism and conscientious work of tens of thousands of highly qualified specialists, the energy complex is developing dynamically: the peaceful atom is being successfully utilized, large-scale projects are being implemented to obtain energy not only from conventional hydrocarbons, but also from renewable sources, local fuels,” the message of congratulations reads.
The most advanced technologies are being introduced, modern equipment is being installed, the efficiency of generating capacities is increasing, which puts Belarus on par with the world's leading economies, the head of state emphasized.
He expressed confidence that in the future the manufacturing and technological capacities of the energy system will allow it to successfully address all its tasks, the most important of which is a reliable and uninterrupted supply of energy to all consumers.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished power engineers good health, happiness, peace, prosperity and new labor achievements.
