Lukashenko sends greetings to workers of Belarusian security service

MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to high-ranking officers, personnel, and veterans of the Belarusian state security service as they celebrate their professional holiday, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“A glorious century-old chronicle of the national security service has many bright pages with legendary names, examples of true patriotism, crystal honesty, exemplary fulfillment of service duties and selflessness,” the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko stressed that service to the Homeland is a special honor and great responsibility. “I am convinced that the current generation of workers is doing its best to protect the Belarusian state. The main ingredients of success are the professionalism and experience of employees, a high intellectual and technical potential of the security service personnel,” the president said.

The head of state also thanked veterans who are the example of loyalty and good teachers for the younger generation because their invaluable experience is always in demand.
