NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – On behalf of Belarusian people and himself Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Canada's Governor General Julie Payette on Canada's National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state welcomed the constructive atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust between Belarus and Canada. He emphasized that the two countries have a similar approach to a number of international matters and seek to achieve meaningful results, which contributes to promoting a full-fledged partnership between the two states.
“Despite the challenges related to the pandemic, I am sure that Belarus and Canada will be able to retain trade and business contacts, expand contacts between people and launch mutually beneficial projects across many fields,” the message reads.
