Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill

MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your patriarchal service is an example of integrity and ceaseless spiritual improvement and inspires profound respect and gratitude. You are committed to promoting understanding and accord in the Orthodox world, instilling Christian values of kindness, mercy and justice in people's souls,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state remarked that Belarus appreciates the friendly support and pastoral concern of Patriarch Kirill. “I am convinced that your selfless activities will help enhance the unity of our nations,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
