Lukashenko, Putin discuss Belarus-Russia cooperation by telephone

MINSK, 31 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with Russia President Vladimir Putin on 31 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The heads of state discussed the Belarusian-Russian interaction in various fields, including the development of trade and economic relations.

Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin agreed to hold a meeting in the near future to discuss the implementation of agreements which were made at the previous negotiations in Moscow at the end of 2018.

The presidents also discussed other issues in the relations of the two countries, including the efficient work of the bilateral taskforce.
