SAMARKAND, 15 September (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is taking part in informal events of the ongoing Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, BelTA has learned.
The informal part began with the planting of oak trees by heads of the delegations that had come for the summit. They planted a number of oak trees that made up an entire tree-lined lane of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
A tour of the cultural and ethnographic complex Eternal City is the next event on the itinerary.
