MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended condolences to the family of Galina Volchek, People's Artist of the USSR, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian president's press service.
The head of state said that Galina Volchek was a distinguished figure. “She lived a remarkable, fulfilling life, reached genuine professional heights and made an unforgettable impact on the Soviet and Russian theater and cinema,” the message of condolences reads.
“Being an actress and film director immensely talented and loved by many generations, an excellent teacher and a wise Sovremennik theater director, she was a brilliant example of dedication to art. May the loving memory of this incredible person live forever in our hearts,” remarked the President.
