Lukashenko offers condolences to Burkina Faso over terrorist attack

MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has issued condolences to Roch Marc Christian Kabore, the President of Burkina Faso, over numerous victims of the terrorist attack in the city of Arbinda, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state emphasized that Belarus absolutely condemns the ruthless acts of the extremists.

Aleksandr Lukashenko offered words of support to family and friends of the victims and wished speedy recovery to the injured.

A reminder, terrorists killed 35 civilians, most of them women, alongside seven soldiers in one of the deadliest attacks in Burkina Faso's history. The country's army and police killed 80 terrorists in their counterattack.
