MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made new appointments in the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB), BelTA informs.
Aleksandr Kilchevsky has been appointed deputy chairman of the NASB Presidium. Previously he worked as the chief academic secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Andrei Ivanets will now work as the chief research. Previously he worked as the deputy director for academic work at the NASB Institute of General and Nonorganic Chemistry.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also approved the appointment of Vadim Makhanko as the director general of the NASB Institute of Potato Farming and Horticulture. Previously he worked as the deputy director general for research at this organization.
