MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko sent greetings to the participants of the 26th Minsk International Film Festival, BelTA learned from the Belarusian leader's press service.
The head of state stressed that this large-scale prestigious forum has a special place in the contemporary culture of not only Belarus but also other countries. “Constantly growing, expanding the list of participating countries, it remains true to its traditions that are based on the principles of spirituality and humanism,” the letter of greetings reads. “The signature features of the festival have always been a high professionalism, a desire to know human values, and an open and interested dialogue of creative intelligentsia, recognized masters and younger generation.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko believes that this year the festival will once again become a true celebration of cinema and will increase the number of friends and fans.
