ukashenko leaves entry in book of distinguished guests in Khatyn
LOGOISK DISTRICT, 22 March (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko left an entry in the book of distinguished guests in the Khatyn Memorial Complex, BelTA has learned.
"The museum in the memorial complex is designed to preserve the memory of the tragedy of the Belarusian people that fascism tried to destroy for their defiance and the desire to live on their land. What you see in the museum is truly shocking. The pain and horror of innocent people motivate us to do everything so that the fire of war never again scorches our peaceful home. I am sincerely grateful to everyone who implemented such a unique and truly people's project," the entry reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko urged to visit the memorial more often and to bring kids and grandkids. “Let them know the heroic truth and the terrible price that was paid to secure a future for) next generations. If these tragic and sacred places fall into oblivion, the tragedy may knock on our door again,” the head of state noted.
