NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
LOGOISK DISTRICT, 22 March (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame in Khatyn during a commemorative event to mark the 80th anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy, BelTA has learned.
The commemorative event observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the victims.
Prior to this, the president got familiar with the results of the project to overhaul the memorial complex. In particular, he toured the new museum built in Khatyn on his instruction for this commemorative date.
