Lukashenko instructs to draw up Minsk Rind Road 2 infrastructure plan

MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko asked to draw up a plan for the development of infrastructure along the Minsk Ring Road 2 as he met with Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Aleksandr Turchin on 3 January, BelTA has learned.

"We need to create jobs along Minsk Ring Road 2: gas stations, restaurants, cafes, bars, repair shops and so on. We need to draw up a comprehensive plan and not revisit it afterwards. It will imply the allocation of land , and this is a presidential matter. So we need a plan. I approve it once, and you work to implement it and make sure there is no red tape and people do not have to apply for permits every time," Aleksandr Lukashenko instructed.

At the same time, such a plan should be"frugal and rational," the president said. "We have no extra land resources in Belarus," he said. “There should be no red tape. We need to create jobs along the road for residents of Minsk and suburbs. This may be both public and private property. Anyone can submit proposals. There should already be proposals. I am ready to act in this direction."
