Lukashenko inspecting Granit crushed stone company

MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is on a working trip to Brest Oblast where he tours the Granit enterprise where a new mining and processing plant is being built, BelTA has learned.

In Mikashevichi, Aleksandr Lukashenko will be updated on the social and economic development of the region and will be told about the company's prospects. The head of state will discuss plans to expand the raw materials base of Granit, the implementation of an investment project to build a mining and processing plant based on the Sitnitskoye deposit. The president will see the operation of the so-called intellectual career where unmanned BELAZ vehicles and MTZ robotic tractors work using 5G technologies.

Founded in 1975, Granit is the country's largest crushed stone producer.
