Lukashenko in favor of balanced approaches to personnel training

MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) – I am not against experiments in personnel training, but well-coordinated steps are needed in the process, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he visited the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Belarus on 18 October, BelTA informs.

At the university the Belarusian leader was informed about new proposals regarding personnel training and retraining. In this context, the president deemed it necessary to use balanced approaches to innovations to ensure maximum efficiency.

One of the proposals was to train talented students at the Academy of Public Administration and at a different university simultaneously. For example, a student will get education at one of regional universities and will simultaneously learn administrative work at the academy. The head of state expressed some doubt about such proposals and warned against education for the sake of education. He is not sure that such simultaneous training at two universities will be effective. In his words, judicious and well-considered steps are needed to make a decision.

The head of state was also informed about the application of modern systems in the process of training at the Academy of Public Administration and about the operation of the university in general.
