MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko gifted Team Belarus' custom soccer jersey to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban after the meeting on 5 June, BelTA informs.
The president gifted a jersey with number 2 to Viktor Orban who sometimes plays soccer under number 2. “With our coat of arms. Maybe, one day you will try it,” the head of state said.
It is common knowledge that soccer is a favorite sport of Viktor Orban. He used to play in division 3 Felcsut and even replaced a coach in 2004.
Another present to the Hungarian leader is the book Heritage of Belarus. “This book will help you learn more about Belarusian culture,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
Viktor Orban remarked that his spouse had been to Belarus many times. “She worked here with a Christian charitable organization. They had different programs. She told me many good things about Belarus.”
The head of state also gifted an exclusive set of chocolate under the President trdemark to the Hungarian prime minister.
Viktor Orban gifted a hand-made coffee and tea set to Aleksandr Lukashenko. It was produced at a famous Hungarian factory. The Belarusian leader liked the present and added that similar tableware is made in Belarus. “Hungary is our rival because we also have a strong factory. We need to divide the market and work together,” he said.
In conclusion, the Hungarian prime minister left a message in the Book of Distinguished Guests at the Palace of Independence.
