MINSK, 2 August (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated member of the Belarusian national athletics team Maksim Nedasekau on winning bronze in the Men's High Jump event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
“You have become the first among Belarusian high jumpers to reach the Olympic podium, starting a new page in the history of national athletics. As a true athlete and a patriot you have proved that it is important to believe in yourself and fight for the national colors till the end and then the success will come your way,” the message of greetings runs.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the athlete, his loved ones and all those who help him conquer the Olympic heights, strong health, success and new convincing victories.
