MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Happy Easter to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, BelTA learned from the Belarusian leader's press service.
The head of state noted that the Easter is a symbol of spiritual transformation of society, a countrywide holiday of mercy and love to fellow human beings. It encourages us to be persistent and courageous in the face of earthly hardships.
“Given this difficult time for the international community, may the Easter joy become an inexhaustible source of faith and hope, and help us endure all the ordeals,” the message of greetings reads.
