MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to the people of Greece over the numerous victims of the railway disaster, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“It is with pain and sorrow that Belarus has learned today's sad news about the train crash in Tempi that left many people dead and many more injured,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, the head of state expressed condolences, words of support and consolation to the families and friends of the victims, and also wished a speedy recovery to the people who were injured in this tragic incident.
