Lukashenko extends birthday greetings to Russian president

MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin on 7 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your consistent efforts, hard work and dedication are the basis of the significant progress that Russia has made in building a powerful and independent country. You belong by right to the ranks of the world leaders of our time, enjoy great authority and influence in the international arena,” the message of greetings runs.

The head of state expressed confidence that deeper integration within the Belarus-Russia Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union would further develop the two economies and promote the wellbeing of the two nations, and would become a significant contribution to security and stability in the Eurasian space.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Vladimir Putin strong health, wellbeing, support of like-minded people and success in the implementation of plans.
