MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Cuban President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez on his 60th birthday, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian leader's press service.
“Under your leadership, Cuba has been on the path towards important state and economic transformations. I am sure that your professionalism, dedication to your people will continue to contribute to the active development of the country, to the strengthening of its international authority, “ the message of greetings reads.
The head of state noted that he fondly remembers the meeting with the Cuban leader in Minsk last October when the two countries reached a number of agreements to expand the Belarusian-Cuban partnership.
“I am convinced that together we will be able to achieve significant results in all areas of bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our peoples,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
