MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – You should protect school teachers from any bullying attacks, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he heard out a report from Education Minister Igor Karpenko, BelTA has learned.
“Protect teachers from any attacks. This work is already underway, and we have been working very actively and firmly to stop all attempts to insult and to bully teachers, doctors,” the head of state noted.
“If some have joined the opposition forces, we need to deal with them too,” the president stressed.
He noted that Belarus has state education, state schools, state ideology. “Those who want to stick to these principles, you are welcome – go teach, work. Those who do not should not work in schools. This needs to be said openly, sincerely, and honestly,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
