MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Namibia President Hage Geingob on the victory of the South West Africa People's Organization party in the general elections and his re-election to the post of the president of Namibia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“The strong support of your candidacy testifies to the correctness of the policy to strengthen the state and mobilize society to address pressing social and economic issues,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state reaffirmed Belarus' interest in more vibrant cooperation with Namibia and most efficient implementation of the existing potential of bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
