Lukashenko congratulates Kazakhstan on 30th anniversary of independence

MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – On behalf of Belarusian people and himself, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the national holiday - the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Within a short period of time by historical standards, your country has achieved significant results on the path of sovereign development, has become an example of tolerance, inter-faith and inter-cultural harmony of representatives of all ethnic groups. People's living standards improved on the back of robust economic growth. Kazakhstan is confidently building a strong, modern and competitive state,” the head of state noted.

Aleksandr Lukashenko strongly believes that the strategic alliance between Minsk and Nur-Sultan based on mutual respect and trust will continue to expand and will be fleshed out with new projects.

The Belarusian president wished Kassym-Jomart Tokayev good health, inexhaustible energy and successes in all undertakings, and the people of Kazakhstan - peace, good and happiness.
