Vetka District, 28 April (BelTA) - Belarusians have chosen a calm and peaceful life as their priority, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a conference with Gomel Oblast officials, BelTA has learned.
"I saw joyful faces in Vetka today. People understand that any issues is a minor issue: “Because the main thing is peace, absence of arrivals (as they say in Donbass). People should live on a peaceful land. People have finally made a calm and peaceful life their priority. I see this in Gomel Oblast and in the country today,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
"I always say: it's better to work in a field thank to fight in a war. You know this better than I do. You have become a frontline region," the president added.
