NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 2 July (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is taking part in the Independence Day meeting on 2 July, BelTA informs.
The event at the Palace of the Republic is attended by high-ranking government officials, representatives of state administration bodies, local executive and regulatory bodies, members of the National Assembly, representatives of the Youth Parliament, public associations, religious denominations and creative unions.
The meeting is also attended by veterans of the Great Patriotic War, workers of various enterprises, research and educational institutions, diplomats.
The program of the Independence Day meeting includes a concert Highway of Our Life. The central image of the concert is a highway, the Belarusian path which was chosen by Belarusian people to create their modern history. Episodes of the concert highlight major achievements of Belarus.
