Lukashenko attends DNA final at Dinamo Stadium in Minsk

MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko attended the Dynamic New Athletics (DNA) final of the 2nd European Games at Dinamo Stadium, BelTA has learned.

The DNA final features Belarus, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Germany.

Aleksandr Lukashenko was present at the medal ceremony as well. Team Belarus secured silver, finishing second behind Ukraine. Belarusian athletes topped the charts in five out of eight DNA events and had the same number of points with Ukraine ahead of The Hunt medley relay. Germany placed third.

The program is made up of nine events culminating with The Hunt, a winner-take-all mixed medley relay.

As BelTA reported earlier, the Belarusian head of state attended canoe sprint competitions at Zaslavl Regatta Course on 27 June, where the Belarusian team won a handful of gold medals to add to the country's medal haul of the games.

The head of state was one of the fans watching the competition from the stands. On this day Belarusian canoers managed to once again confirm their outstanding sport skills.
