Lukashenko approves new appointments in a number of ministries

MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved the appointment of deputy ministers in a number of ministries, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Ogorodnikov was promoted from Deputy Industry Minister to First Deputy Industry Minister. The vacated position of deputy minister was taken over by Aleksei Kozlov who was previously in charge of the science and technology department of the Industry Ministry.

Chairman of the Novogrudok District Executive Committee Sergei Fedchenko was appointed First Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister. Vadim Shagoiko, the head of the main economy department of the Agriculture and Food Ministry was approved for the position of deputy minister.

Deputy Director General at the Minsk Komarovsky Market Nina Emelyanova was appointed Deputy Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Minister.

Oleg Andreichik was promoted from chief of the sports department to Deputy Sports and Tourism Minister.
