Lukashenko appoints new local executives

MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has approved the appointment of new local executives, BelTA informs.

Gennady Solovey has been appointed the first deputy chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee. Previously he worked as a chairman of the Nesvizh District Executive Committee.

Nikolai Korotin, a former director of the Mogilevgiprozem project institute, will work as the first deputy chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.

Alexander Lukashenko also approved the appointment of new executives in regions. Yuri Derkach will be the chairman of the Chechersk District Executive Committee, Andrei Baranovsky - the chairman of the Oktyabrsky District Executive Committee, Oleg Bykov - the chairman of the Shumilino District Executive Committee.

Besides, the head of state approved the appointment of Ivan Rebkovets as the chairman of the Pinsk Town Hall. He previously worked as a deputy transport and communications minister.
