NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – A joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic for the annual State of the Nation Address of the Belarusian president to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly opened in the Oval Hall of the Government House, BelTA has learned.
The event is broadcast live by the TV channels Belarus 1, Belarus 24, and the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio. The televised version of the Address will be aired on Belarusian TV channels in the evening.
The event at the Oval Hall of the Seat of Government has brought together top-ranking officials, members of the government, heads of government bodies and agencies, major enterprises, universities and banks, representatives of the diplomatic corps and mass media. This year the event also welcomes many community leaders. These include former MPs, representatives of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans, the national public association Belaya Rus, the Belarusian Union of Women, university students (including representatives of the Belarusian youth union BRSM), students of military universities, journalists of regional mass media.
