MINSK, 26 December (BelTA) - Honorary Consul of Belarus in Lyon Jean-Jacques Rinck has been awarded Francysk Skaryna Medal. The relevant decree was signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
The diplomat has been honored in recognition of his significant personal contribution to the strengthening of the friendly relations between Belarus and France, popularization of cultural heritage of the Belarusian people abroad.
