Edgar Martirosyan appointed Supreme Court judge

MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 209 “On the appointment and liberation of judges” on 31 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state appointed Edgar Martirosyan judge of the Supreme Court with the subsequent coordination of this appointment with the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly. He was relieved of the post of judge of the Vitebsk Oblast Court.

Sergei Kovalev was appointed chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Economic Court.

Judges of various courts in Belarusian regions were also appointed and relieved of their positions in accordance with the decree.
