MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) - Dmitry Pantus has been appointed chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko announced the appointment on 4 June, BelTA has learned.
“Not only Roman Golovchenko [former head of the State Authority for Military Industry, and now - Prime Minister] has proposed your candidacy for this position. Many others who worked with you did too,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
He expressed hope that the military-industrial complex will continue the successful work in the areas discussed recently, and this industry will be further developed.
