Belarusian workers of agriculture honored with state awards

MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) – State awards have been conferred on 63 workers of the agricultural industry. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed corresponding Decree No. 51, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

They have been awarded in recognition of the many-year productive work, professional excellence, a big personal contribution to the development of agribusiness, agricultural and processing industries, attainment of high production results.

The Orders of Fatherland 3rd Class have been conferred on Chairman of the Doropeyevichi farm, Malorita District, Vasily Yukhimuk, tractor driver of the Niva-Barsuki farm, Kirovsk District, Alexander Petrankov.

The Orders of Honor have been bestowed upon Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats, Director General of SOAO Kommunarka Ivan Danchenko, Director of OAO Gorkilen Vitaly Yevtikhovich, driver of the farm operated by the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy Viktor Vasilevich.

A big group of people have received Medals for Labor Merits. A number of workers have become Honored Scientists of Belarus and Honored Workers of Agriculture of Belarus.
