Belarus, Tajikistan sign roadmap for bilateral cooperation for 2019-2020

DUSHANBE, 15 May (BelTA) - Belarus and Tajikistan have signed a roadmap for bilateral cooperation for 2019-2020, BelTA has learned.

The document defines the parameters of the Belarusian-Tajik interaction in the key areas for the near-term perspective. It was signed by co-chairmen of the intergovernmental commission: Belarus' Agriculture and Food Minister Leonid Zayats and Tajikistan's Agriculture Minister Izatullo Sattori.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs signed a plan of consultations for 2019-2020.

A cooperation agreement was inked between the State Control Committee of Belarus and the Audits Chamber of Tajikistan.

The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus signed an agreement on scientific cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.

A cooperation agreement in the field of forensic examinations was concluded by the Belarusian State Forensics Committee with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Justice of Tajikistan. Apart from that, the Belarusian State Forensics Committee signed a cooperation agreement in forensic pathology with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan.

A comprehensive action plan for 2018-2020 to implement the cooperation agreement between Belarus' Emergencies Ministry and the Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of Tajikistan was adopted.

A cooperation agreement was concluded between the Industry Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan.

The Belarusian Education Ministry signed an agreement on cooperation in preschool education with the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan. The agreement on academic and scientific cooperation was concluded between the Belarusian State Medical University and the Tajik State Medical University.

An agreement on cooperation was signed between the Healthcare Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan.

An agreement on cooperation was concluded between the State Property Committee of Belarus and the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of Tajikistan.

A plan of action on the development of trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation was signed between the Minsk City Hall and the Dushanbe executive body.
