MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) - A resolution of the council of the special fund of the Belarusian president for the support of talented students has been approved. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a corresponding executive order, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
In accordance with the document, monetary prizes and lapel badges have been given to 12 winners of international academic excellence competitions. Eight more winners of international academic excellence competitions will receive material aid. Monetary prices will be also given to 665 winners of international and national contests.
“The resolution is aimed at ensuring targeted state support for talented students, creating favorable conditions for their further improvement and development,” the press release of the press service reads.
