MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko heard out a report from Chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus Valery Vakulchik on 25 October, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
The KGB chief informed the head of state about the agency's efforts to ensure national security, safeguard the country's economic interests, and take care of international cooperation matters, including counteraction of terrorism.
The current state of affairs in the country was also discussed as well as the matters the head of state closely monitors.
