Belarus president presents diplomas to scientists at Palace of Independence

MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – The ceremony to present diplomas of academicians and corresponding members of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB), diplomas of doctors of sciences and professor certificates to scientific and pedagogical workers takes place at the Palace of Independence on 2 February. The diplomas and certificates are presented by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA informs.

The event is attended by more than 40 scientific and pedagogical workers specializing in various fields. Among them are director of the Belarusian national research center of traumatology and orthopedics Alexander Beletsky, director of the Flax Institute of the NASB Research Center of Arable Farming Ivan Golub, head of the Plasma Physics Center Nikolai Tarasenko, head of the Belarusian national research center of transplantation of organs and tissues Oleg Rummo, head of the constitutional law chair of the law department at the Belarusian State University Grigory Vasilevich, parliament member Igor Marzalyuk, Rector of the Belarusian State University of Physical Education Sergei Repkin and others.
