Belarus president decides to fire current government

MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has decided in favor of firing the current government. The head of state has signed the relevant decree, BelTA learned from a news program aired by the TV channel Belarus One.

Proposals regarding the new composition of government were discussed during a conference hosted by the head of state in the morning on 3 June. Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko, Head of the Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko, and State Secretary of the Security Council Andrei Ravkov were invited to participate in the conference.
