Belarus keen to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan

MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow of Turkmenistan as the country celebrated International Neutrality Day on 12 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Guided by this principle, Turkmenistan makes a significant contribution to ensuring international stability and security, is an example of peacefulness and good neighborliness,” the head of state remarked.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence: “The historically friendly relations between Minsk and Ashgabat will serve as a solid foundation for the development of productive political dialogue, intensification of economic and humanitarian contacts.

The president reaffirmed Belarus' readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan and wished the leader of this country good health, new victories and achievements. He also wished the people of Turkmenistan well-being and accord.
