MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) – The Hi-Tech Park has to work more effectively. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement in his Address to the nation and the parliament on 31 March, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko told Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko to give a sharp prod to the Hi-Tech Park. “They are too focused on sanctions. They say they are having a hard time,” the head of state said.
The Hi-Tech Park needs to create new competitive products in the interests of its own country while leaving intellectual property in Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed. “We need products that will be in demand in foreign markets, too. And you know how picky these markets are nowadays,” he pointed out.
