Ways to expand business cooperation between Belarus, Pakistan discussed in Minsk

MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik held a meeting with Pakistan's Federal Minister for Power Khurram Dastgir Khan, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

Khurram Dastgir Khan is heading a Pakistani delegation that arrived in Minsk to participate in the sixth meeting of the joint Belarusian-Pakistani commission on trade and economic cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the main results of the meeting of the joint commission, possible areas for further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation with an emphasis on the development of trade and investment cooperation, expanding contacts between business communities of the two countries. The parties also had an exchange of views on the situation in the region and the world.

"The federal minister for power of Pakistan handed over to the Belarusian minister of foreign affairs a message from Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the Belarusian head of state," the press service informed.
