Vietnam extends visa waiver for Belarus nationals through 2022

MINSK, 30 December (BelTA) – Vietnam has extended the visa waiver for citizens of Belarus until the end of 2022, BelTA learned from the Facebook account of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“In the run-up to New Year, we continue receiving good news about visa-free travel possibilities for Belarusians. This time the news came from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The country has extended the visa waiver for Belarusians until 31 December 2022,” the message reads.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that citizens of Belarus do not need Vietnamese visas for a 15-day trip. They are just required to have a regular passport (that has to be valid for six months beyond the departure date) and return tickets.

The ministry pointed out that a gap of at least 30 days between two visa-free visits is required under the Vietnamese law. This rule does not apply to travelers who have a visa.
