U.S. embassy to expand visa services in Minsk

MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) – The U.S. Embassy in Minsk announces a new expansion of visa services in Belarus, BelTA has learned.

Starting from 9 January 2018, the embassy will accept applications from residents of Belarus in all the following nonimmigrant visa categories: A, C1/D, G, F, H, I, J, L, M, O, P, and R. However, the age based restriction for B1/B2 applicants (tourist/business) remains in place. At this time, only Belarusian residents age 50 and older may apply for B1/B2 visas in Minsk.

“We are working to increase the capacity of our consular section and hope to further expand visa services in the near future,” the embassy said.
