NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MOSCOW, 14 February (BelTA) - Ukraine has lost its independence and turned into a U.S. battering ram against Russia, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Anatoly Sidorov told a press conference in Moscow on 14 February, BelTA has learned.
"The West has assigned Ukraine the role of an anti-Russian staging post. In fact, the country has lost its independence and turned into a U.S. battering ram against the Russian Federation," Anatoly Sidorov said.
“Pumping arms and hardware into Ukraine, including such heavy weapons as HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, Abrams, Leopard and Challenger tanks, the provision of dual-purpose systems like the Starlink satellite network and the active participation of foreign mercenaries... All this will push Ukraine into a bottomless pit of debt and prolong the special military operation as long as possible,” Anatoly Sidorov said.
