NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – The Minsk Oblast Council of Deputies has approved Aleksandr Turchin as Minsk Oblast Governor, BelTA has learned.
Belarus President Administration Head Natalya Kochanova noted that Aleksandr Turchin has been holding key executive positions for a long time already. He also worked in the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee. Aleksandr Turchin is known as a responsible and efficient person with great communication skills and a wealth of experience in public administration.
She emphasized that Aleksandr Turchin started at the bottom of the career ladder and climbed all the way to the top, which is very important for efficient work as a governor. “Young, experienced and knowledgeable. The Minsk Oblast administration is a team of true professionals,” Natalya Kochanova said.
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is set to meet with representatives of Minsk Oblast on 4 December.
