MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – More in the European Union support the idea of closer cooperation with Belarus, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto told the media on 14 January, BelTA has learned.
“We are committed to closer cooperation between the European Union and Belarus. I had the opportunity to tell the president that there are more and more supporters of such an approach in the European Union,” said Peter Szijjarto.
He added that Hungary is in favor of developing pragmatic cooperation between East and West. “We always support the like-minded countries that share this approach. Belarus is among them,” the minister said.
