Swedish students visit Minsk, attend lecture on Belarus' statehood

MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – On 15 April, Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko met with students of Lund University (Sweden) who came to Belarus on a study visit, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Oleg Kravchenko delivered a lecture about the main historic events which led to the establishment of the Belarusian statehood, outlined the main areas of Belarus' foreign and internal policy. He informed the students about the development of cooperation with the neighboring countries, the European Union, and the United States of America.

The deputy minister also laid out Belarus' positions on topical matters of the international and regional agenda, including security matters, and answered questions from the Swedish students.
