
BISHKEK, 9 December (BelTA) - The leaders of the CIS countries are planning to gather in St. Petersburg for an informal pre-New Year summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek on 9 December, BelTA has learned.
"We will be happy to see you at the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and at the Eurasian Economic Forum, which we are planning to hold on 24-25 May 2023. We will determine the place of our meeting in due course. Taking the opportunity I would like to remind you that the pre-New Year informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg has been discussed and agreed upon," Vladimir Putin said.
